This role allows you the freedom to choose your caseload, offering between 10 to 30 billable hours weekly. We collaborate using telehealth platforms to ensure seamless service delivery while maintaining opportunities for team interaction through group consultations, which may be held either online or in person. Additionally, all administrative responsibilities, such as scheduling and billing, are managed by our support staff, allowing you to focus entirely on patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide short-term psychotherapy for mental health services, employing various modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy.

• Perform case management and create treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based practices.

• Utilize telehealth technologies to deliver therapy, ensuring flexibility while adhering to the highest standards of care.

• Engage in crisis intervention and provide supportive therapy for clients dealing with mental health and dual disorders.
\n
• Assess clients' urgent needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, including psychiatric consultations and crisis responses.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions, including progress notes and treatment updates to provide holistic support.

• Participate in ongoing clinical consultations and professional development training to sustain clinical competency and expertise.

• Engage in quality assurance practices by reviewing challenging cases and collaborating with peers for best outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a varied population that includes children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients may be facing issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and dual-diagnosis disorders. You will take pride in responding to varied needs with culturally responsive and empathetic care, ensuring a safe space for all clients to express their concerns and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A current license as a LMFT in California, or a Psy.D.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting.

• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems to manage patient data effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Youth Mental Advocate Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary within the range of USD 75,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience.
