Desktop Support Analyst

Job Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Chicago, IL. As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing tier 1 & 2 desktop support, managing desk setups, and facilitating a smooth onboarding process. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the tech industry. Responsibilities Provide Tier 1 & 2 desktop support to ensure optimal system functionality. Utilize Fleetsmith for imaging tasks to maintain system consistency. Manage desk setups, ensuring all necessary equipment and software are correctly installed and functioning. Act as a key player in the onboarding process, helping new team members get set up and acclimated. Support a large team, addressing and resolving any technical issues. Maintain and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary. Utilize Apple Macintosh and JAMF Casper Suite to manage system configurations and settings. Use Google Apps and Drive to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Employ JIRA for project management and issue tracking. Be proactive in ensuring all systems are updated and functioning correctly. Qualifications Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field Proven experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or similar role Knowledge of Apple Macintosh systems is required Experience with JAMF Casper Suite is essential Strong understanding of software and hardware installations, testing, and troubleshooting Excellent problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Must be able to provide support to users in a professional and courteous manner Must have a continuous learning mindset to keep updated with the latest technologies #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
