Wet Plant GroundsmanWet plant groundmen are mainly responsible for assisting Wet plant leads and operators with various task to ensure safe and efficient operation of the wet plant. Wet plant groundmen must follow the direction and report to the Wet Plant lead-man to ensure timely completion of the assigned daily tasks.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform general labor and housekeepingOperate equipment such as skid steers, front end loaders, forklifts, manlifts and other equipment as required.Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine maintenance on process equipmentAssist in personnel training as directed by wet plant leadsCommunicate all operation malfunctions or irregularities to plant lead and/or wet plant operators.Identify correct and report all safety hazards to wet plant leads and/or wet plant operatorsEffectively communicate verbally and in writing to all site personnel and management.Complete daily workplace exams and equipment inspections in a timely mannerFollow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as required by company policies and MSHA.Work long hours in excessively hot ambient temperatures, as well as cold weather.
