Commercial Construction Superintendent – Lead Commercial & Federal Projects for Oxeland Group

Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

You will serve as a key field leader, taking complete ownership of jobsite operations, subcontractor management, and project execution. This role offers you the chance to drive high-visibility commercial and federal projects while building long-term industry relationships. How You Will Make an Impact:

• Lead daily field operations, trade partners, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain look-ahead schedules to identify potential delays early and keep projects moving forward.
• Enforce strict site safety standards to cultivate a safe and organized environment for all workers.
• Conduct pre-installation meetings and ongoing site inspections to maintain high quality standards.
• Partner with Project Managers and clients to deliver clear communication and resolve site issues.
• Utilize Procore management software to log daily reports, document progress, and manage RFIs.
• Drive project closeout and punch-list completion to ensure clean and timely delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven track record leading commercial construction jobsites as a Superintendent or Field Leader.
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, trade sequencing, and overall project schedules.
• Technical proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in commercial, government, or federal construction leadership.
• Active OSHA 30 certification or specialized trade safety training.
• Working knowledge of digital construction management platforms such as Procore.
