Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice. Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, equivalent professional experience considered.- Experience supporting aircraft manufacturing, production operations, program management, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, planning, or production control.- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within a manufacturing environment.- Experience interpreting engineering releases, manufacturing plans, schedules, and technical documentation.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Desired Skills- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and build partnerships across multiple organizations.- Understanding of aircraft build operations and manufacturing plans.- Experience with Program Office operations, Master and Production Scheduling, Engineering Design Release processes, Tooling, Manufacturing Planning, and Production Control.- Knowledge of aircraft configuration management and Type Version Effectivity (TVE) implementation.- Experience supporting first article production, production readiness, or new product introduction.- Strong organizational and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing business priorities.- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.- Experience identifying manufacturing risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.- Continuous improvement mindset focused on production efficiency and execution excellence.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
