Packaging/Labeling Technician II - 1st Shift

Packaging/Labeling Technician II at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Indianapolis performs labeling, assembly, and operation of packaging machinery for pharmaceutical products in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. The role involves collaborating with quality assurance and production teams to ensure accurate product preparation and timely distribution.

Responsibilities

Label and assemble clinical supplies with precise placement and documentation
Count and prepare packaging supplies; assist in component staging and reconciliation
Perform manual and automated filling, bottling, and in-process product approval
Operate packaging machinery for filling, wrapping, labeling, and packing pharmaceutical products
Review batch paperwork and follow supervisor instructions for assembly procedures

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging experience
Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software
Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly
Capability to stand, walk, and operate material handling equipment for extended periods
Good communication and teamwork skills
