Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the Mother Baby unit
• Monitor maternal and neonatal status, recognize changes, and respond appropriately
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and hospital protocols
• Perform newborn assessments, administer routine newborn care, and support lactation and parental education
• Collaborate with the care team, document accurately in the medical record, and assist with discharge planning
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards, and respond to emergencies as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Mother Baby specialty
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred or required per unit policy
• Travel assignment with no locals within 50 miles of the assignment location
• Active Registered Nurse license (Georgia) or eligible for licensure in the state
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet holiday coverage requirements
• Prior experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with Mother Baby workflows
