Growth Marketing Manager

The Role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead acquisition efforts aimed at a professional audience, owning multi-channel campaigns, community programs and in-person events. Work closely with senior leadership on growth strategy and manage a substantial marketing budget with a high degree of independence.
What You'll Do
- Own acquisition from start to finish, running campaigns across paid, email, referral, event and community channels.
- Manage a large annual marketing budget, deciding how to allocate and optimize spend based on performance data.
- Build and nurture online and offline communities through social platforms, chat groups and ambassador programs.
- Plan and run in-person events such as dinners, hackathons, roundtables and conference activations in several locations.
- Partner with senior leadership to define growth strategy and test new acquisition channels.
- Strengthen brand credibility and appeal among professional communities through clear messaging and community programming.
What We're Looking For
- 2 to 5 years of experience in growth marketing or go-to-market roles, with ownership of acquisition pipelines.
- Track record leading and scaling audience-facing channels, including community, events and digital advertising.
- Background at an early-stage or high-growth startup, ideally a marketplace.
- Hands-on skill managing paid campaigns on major social and search advertising platforms.
- Strong ownership and autonomy, and comfort working without detailed playbooks.
- Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco.

- Experience sourcing or attracting professionals.
- Experience building communities on social platforms.
- Background in experiential marketing or live community programming.
- Prior work expanding one side of a multi-sided platform.
