Commercial Mortgage Processor / Junior Underwriter

Commercial Mortgage Processor / Junior Underwriter Williamsburg, Brooklyn (In-Office) Up to $100K (based on experience) A growing commercial mortgage brokerage in Williamsburg is seeking a strong Processor / Underwriter hybrid to support deal flow from application through closing. This is not an entry-level admin role. We're looking for someone who understands commercial real estate financing and can think through a file - not just push paper. Responsibilities:
If you've worked on commercial deals and want to be closer to the action - this is a solid seat.
- Review and organize loan applications and supporting documentation
- Analyze financial statements, rent rolls, tax returns, and credit reports
- Assist in structuring deals and preparing lender packages
- Communicate directly with borrowers, lenders, and third parties
- Track files through underwriting, conditions, and closing
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all submissions
- Experience in commercial mortgage processing and/or underwriting
- Strong understanding of CRE loan products (bridge, permanent, construction preferred)
- Ability to analyze financials and identify red flags
- Highly organized with strong follow-up skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced brokerage environment
- Up to $100K base (depending on experience)
- Opportunity to grow within an active, high-volume brokerage
