Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialization in Telemetry to join our team. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting a dynamic healthcare environment.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting, monitoring vital signs and managing cardiac conditions.Assist with pre-cardiac cath procedures and manage ports effectively.Support patients in the Emergency Department who are awaiting inpatient care, ensuring their safety and comfort.Float between various units, including observation and medical surgical telemetry units, as needed.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.ShiftsThis position is a day shift role, consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Flexibility is required for weekend shifts as part of the schedule.QualificationsMinimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience is required.Previous experience in telemetry and management of pre-cardiac cath procedures is mandatory.Active compact nursing license required at the time of submission.Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS current and valid.Experience with EPIC charting system is required.Working ConditionsPotential floating between various locations within the region.COVID and flu vaccinations are required, with medical or religious exemptions considered.Personal appearance standards: no face piercings or visible gauge earrings permitted; nails should be kept short and natural, with polish acceptable.No cafeteria facilities available; however, a refrigerator and microwave are provided on-site for staff use.Free parking in unrestricted spaces is available.Scrubs and ApparelScrubs must be navy blue and should not display any agency or brand logos, as this is strictly enforced.If you are looking for an opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply.
