Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical lab tests across disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology following established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection as necessary and prepare samples for analysis.
• Keenly document processes, mentor new employees or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe laboratory environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with ASCP/AMT certification readiness.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire.
• Maintain ongoing certification throughout employment.
