Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and provide welcoming customer service to tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Bring integrity, teamwork, and reliability to a caring, innovative team that puts people first.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout commercial office buildings, parking areas, common spaces, loading areas, and property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and unusual occurrences accurately in required reports and logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
