Vice President, Construction and Installation About the Company Premier engineering, construction & maintenance firm specializing in transportation infrastructure Industry Construction Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of Construction and Installation for its rapidly scaling engineering, construction, and maintenance firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 70 and will have full ownership of operations, safety and quality, project execution, materials and equipment utilization, team leadership, and financial performance. This role is pivotal as the company continues to grow, both organically and through M&A, and requires a highly visible individual with a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will have a background in highway, civil, or electrical construction, with a strong emphasis on horizontal construction, and a deep understanding of the industry, including estimating, contracts, materials, equipment, project scheduling, and financial analysis. The VP of Construction and Installation will be expected to have a data-driven mindset, with strong business and financial acumen, and the ability to run a construction team of 70. A background in the ITS and/or traffic signal construction and installation industries is highly desirable. The role demands a broad-based individual who can run a business, not just projects, and who can be respected by both project managers and supervisors. Financial and operational discipline is key, and the candidate should be prepared to take on the responsibility of a $35M operation. This is a strategic leadership position that requires a candidate with a proven track record in a similar role, capable of driving the company's construction and installation business to new heights.
