Overview Sr. Director, Human Resources at Computer History Museum Position Summary: Reporting to the Senior Manager of Museum Services, this role is central to CHM’s broader commitment to educational impact and audience engagement as we rebuild our education program post-pandemic. The Manager of School Engagement will collaborate closely with the Volunteer Manager, Museum Services team, and the curatorial team on a goal to deliver high quality, curriculum-driven educational experiences for all school groups visiting CHM. Define and implement educational goals aligned with CHM’s mission, theory of change, and learning framework. Relying on CHM’s extensive library of existing materials, develop hands-on educational activities that deepen student learning and complement in-gallery experiences. In collaboration with the Volunteer Manager, provide training, support, and feedback to volunteers that support field trip activities, including docents. Develop and implement systems for evaluating and improving the educational impact of field trips. Work with the marketing team to develop and implement outreach strategies to achieve goals. Work closely with internal stakeholders across Museum Services and Curatorial departments to ensure alignment. Build relationships with local educators, schools, and community organizations to increase participation.
