Responsibilities Cloud & Systems Administration (M365 & Azure): Manage, configure, and optimize our Microsoft 365 tenant (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive); administ er and scale our Microsoft Azure environment, including Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), virtual machines, and cloud networking; design and enforce device management policies using Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) for a fully remote fleet of Windows and Mac endpoints; implement and monitor identity and access management (IAM), Conditional Access policies, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Remote Desktop & User Support: Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support for 100+ remote employees across various US time zones; oversee the hardware lifecycle (provisioning, configuring, shipping, decommissioning laptops and peripherals); troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network connectivity issues via remote support tools; maintain clear, accessible internal IT documentation and user guides. Security, Compliance, & Infrastructure: Collaborate with leadership to ensure IT systems adhere to healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2); monitor system health, perform regular security audits, and manage data backup and disaster recovery protocols; manage and integrate third-party SaaS applications, ensuring seamless SSO and provisioning; participate in IT strategy and planning to deploy new technologies that support business scaling. Business Applications: Take end-to-end ownership of key internal software systems (e.g., ticketing systems, collaboration platforms, HRIS, CRM, and other SaaS tools); manage user onboarding, offboarding, and permissions to ensure security and least-privilege access; integrate business applications with Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), and SSO where possible; proactively monitor application performance, usage, and costs, making recommendations to improve reliability, efficiency, and ROI. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in systems administration, specifically within Microsoft ecosystems Technical Expertise: Operational knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Azure Cloud services; proficiency with Microsoft Intune (Autopilot a strong plus) and Entra ID; strong background in PowerShell scripting for automation and bulk system management Support Skills: Proven track record of supporting a distributed, 100% remote workforce with excellent customer service and communication skills Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the healthcare or health-tech sector, with a firm understanding of HIPAA compliance and secure data handling practices, is highly preferred Location: Must be located in the Denver metro area and able to commute to on-site support. The office is located at Bellview and I25.
