Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist

O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable CPA Company to find their next Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist. This position is based in Redding, CA.
We are partnering with a reputable CPA firm that is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, providing hands-on support across bookkeeping, payroll, and basic tax preparation. Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist Compensation:- $25 - $28 an hour

- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or similar role
- Experience with payroll processing
- Familiarity with 1040 tax preparation is preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Experience with tax software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Process payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Handle accounts payable and assist with accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Assist with preparation of individual tax returns (1040s)
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial information
