Senior Staff Accountant

Contract Duration: 08/31/2026 – 08/28/2027 The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare accounting, extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, experience with general ledger systems, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Financial Planning, Financial Reporting, Tax, Supply Chain, Legal, Human Resources, and Information Technology. Key Responsibilities Perform month-end, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Prepare and review journal entries. Complete account reconciliations and supporting schedules. Analyze financial statements and statistical reports. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and organizational accounting policies. Compare financial results against budgets and historical trends. Support internal and external reporting requirements. Maintain and monitor internal controls. Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests. Research and implement accounting policies and procedures. Perform ad hoc reporting and financial analysis. Identify opportunities for process improvements. Analyze risk and estimation areas and provide recommendations. Collaborate with Finance, Tax, HR, IT, Legal, and Supply Chain teams. Participate in professional development and continuing education activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience . Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP . Experience with general ledger accounting . Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis . Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations . Experience supporting month-end close processes . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
