Production Technician

Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Production Technician for a global leader in specialty chemicals, industrial gases, and refrigerant solutions. In this role, you'll safely fill, inspect, handle, and track compressed gas cylinders while operating production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Training on 1st shift: Monday-Friday- 7:00 am- 3:30 pm. Candidates must be able to move to 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm.

Responsibilities of the Production Technician:

• Fill and inspect compressed gas cylinders following safety and quality standards.
• Operate production equipment, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, forklifts, and hoists.
• Monitor equipment, perform minor troubleshooting, and maintain accurate production records.
• Examine incoming cylinders for defects or damage before filling.
• Safely handle compressed gas products and maintain a clean work area.

Required Qualifications of the Production Technician:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
• EPA 608 Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Forklift/overhead crane experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors/outdoors.
