Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 4 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• 6 months of Epic experience is required within the last 5 years.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates must be proficient in Epic and able to hit the ground running. Tele exp required.

Unit Details: Uses Pyxis and PowerChart. PICC/vascular access team is available during the day, with hours that vary; the primary RN inserts IVs, and the PICC team is a resource for difficult IV starts, PICC, and midline insertions. No lift team. Transporters are available, but nurses may assist with transport at times. Unit secretary coverage 0600-2230.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Call required: placed on call if excessive staffing or low patient census. Weekend coverage scheduled based on need.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
