The Role Are you ready to be a part of an extraordinary leasing team and revolutionize the apartment living experience? AvalonBay Communities seeks a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to manage daily operations of the leasing team at one of our apartment communities and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living. As a Leasing Consultant you will drive personalized tours, recommend floor plans, provide neighborhood recommendations, and follow through on every lead to ensure prospective residents know you care. Saturday availability is required to accommodate high‑traffic weekends. Responsibilities Provide incredible customer service and create a sense of community. Leverage sales and marketing skills to drive leasing performance and community enthusiasm. Follow through on leads with tailored updates, keeping prospects informed of new opportunities. Demonstrate genuine desire to help residents and colleagues in creating a better way to live. Requirements A high school diploma or GED. 1‑2 years of leasing or customer service experience, preferably in real estate or property management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
