Whether it's a routine wellness exam, advanced diagnostics, or specialized surgery, our experienced veterinarians and staff are here to offer personalized care tailored to your pet's unique needs. \n \n Visit us at: \n \n \n About the Role \n \n As Veterinary Technician Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: \n \n * Directing work flow on the floor \n * Cultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong hospital culture \n * Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital \n * Help with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates \n * Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills \n * Conduct staff meetings \n * Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience \n * Mentoring technicians within the department \n * Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner \n * Refining and implementing protocols \n * Ensure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff. \n \n \n \n Schedule: Full Time, weekend rotation, days vary. \n \n Compensation: $26.00 - $32.00 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status. \n \n \n Being a Technician Supervisor means you are a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. \n \n Having mastered the entire range of vet tech skills yourself, you are a role model for the team.
