Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse: LPN - Psych - Multiple Shifts

Location: Weston, WV

Setting: Psychiatric Hospital

Pay Range: $1539.77 - 1616.76 weekly

Schedule: 12-Hour Days/Nights, 36/48 rotating schedule, rotating shifts, including weekend shifts

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly

Requirements: 1 year of experience as an LPN; Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 year of experience in Psych; Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license; Be willing to obtain WV or compact licensure

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic care and treatments, such as dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas, douches, alcohol rubs, and massages, or performing catheterizations.
• Answer individuals' calls and determine how to assist them.
• Observe individuals, charting and reporting changes in individuals' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and take necessary action.
• Measure and record individuals' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Administer prescribed medications or start intravenous fluids, and document times and amounts on individuals' charts.
