About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Business Development for Heavy Civil Construction. This pivotal role is dedicated to leading growth initiatives and is ideal for a professional with a strong background in business development, particularly within the heavy civil construction, site development, or related markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, as well as building and maintaining strategic relationships with a diverse range of clients, including general contractors, developers, municipal agencies, and industrial clients. The role is highly autonomous, with a focus on sales and relationship development, and offers the opportunity to influence the company's growth strategy. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a proven track record in client development and sales leadership, with a strong network of relationships in the industry. The role requires the ability to operate independently, drive results, and work closely with ownership and division leadership to establish business development priorities. Experience in the Texas markets is strongly preferred, and familiarity with the broader Sun Belt and Southeast regions is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of heavy civil construction, mass excavation, landfill development, and related infrastructure sectors, and be adept at developing long-term strategic partnerships to support sustained revenue growth.
