Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
Location: Kansas City, KS
Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Late Clinic: Wednesdays 8:30 AM 6:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered reproductive and women s healthcare services. The ideal candidate will have experience in family planning, women s health, and preventive care while working effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive reproductive and women s health services
Perform:
o Physical assessments
o Sports physicals
o Work physicals
o Limited acute care services
Conduct routine gynecological examinations including:
o Pelvic exams
o Breast exams
o Colposcopy services (training available)
Prescribe medications within scope of practice
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Provide patient education and pregnancy options counseling
Patient Care & Coordination
Deliver compassionate and culturally sensitive care
Educate patients on preventive and reproductive health topics
Coordinate referrals and follow-up care as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Support development of clinical protocols and procedures
Assist with clinic operations and quality improvement initiatives


Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Active and unrestricted APRN/NP license in the State of Kansas
Experience in:
o Reproductive Health
o Family Planning
o OB/GYN
o Women s Health
Current BLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
