Regional Business Manager - Cardiovascular

What You Will Do In this vital role you will work in close partnership with the National Sales Director to achieve strong sales force delivery in alignment with Brand strategy. The position focuses on data‑driven performance analysis, trend identification, and tailored coaching support across geographic regions. Sales Performance Support : Align national direction with brand and corporate strategy, interpret data and trends within specific geographies, provide analytical support in identifying local business opportunities, and assist in outlining tactics and metrics. Access & Fulfillment : Use analytics to identify opportunities, create pull‑through strategies, monitor MMIT utilization and co‑pay use, and partner with region leadership to optimize RAS, vRAS, and OPM/RAS program deployment. Incentive Compensation : Investigate incentive compensation data, support credible compensation data, and partner with NSD/SPO to create and communicate plans, contests, and incentives to drive performance. General Sales Support : Develop national engagement plans, create PowerPoint content for internal approvals, serve as contact for cross‑functional partners, provide interim District Manager coverage when needed, and assist in recruiting and hiring for the nation. Regional Expertise : Gain in‑depth knowledge of field processes including Veeva, sampling, speaker programs, congresses, and other Amgen‑specific tools. Qualifications Basic Qualifications : Doctorate degree and 2years of Sales/Marketing experience, ORMaster’s degree and 6years of Sales/Marketing experience, ORBachelor’s degree and 8years of Sales/Marketing experience, ORAssociate’s degree and 10years of Sales/Marketing experience, ORHigh school diploma/GED and 12years of Sales/Marketing experience. 2years of managerial experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects, or programs. Preferred Qualifications : 3+years specialty sales experience (leadership experience highly preferred). Strong sense of responsibility, self‑discipline, and analytical mindset. Deep knowledge of payor environment and Amgen datasets (Vision, repAI, Compass/Veeva, myIC, MMIT). High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strategic market and customer targeting skills, with ability to coach and influence behaviors. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate across business units.
