Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish a trusting and professional rapport with patients to foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and circumstances.

• Facilitate weekly counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy, to address a variety of mental health issues.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout their treatment, modifying plans as necessary to ensure optimal care.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients navigate personal challenges and develop coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, referring clients to specialists when additional support is warranted.

• Document patient interactions and treatment progress accurately and efficiently in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, addiction, relational conflicts, and familial issues. Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license to practice in the state of New York.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices, particularly for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
