Indianapolis, IN | Temp-to-Hire |$17/hr

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role

BESTAFF is hiring a Shipping Clerk for a leading 3PL (third-party logistics) facility in Indianapolis. You'll play a key role keeping outbound shipments accurate and on schedule — using computer systems to process orders and operating a forklift to stage product for shipment. If you're detail-oriented, comfortable with computers, and know your way around a forklift, this is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced logistics team.

What You'll Do

• Use computer systems to process shipping orders, print labels, and update records accurately
• Operate a forklift to stage and move product for outbound shipments
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a high level of accuracy
• Verify shipment quantities and documentation against orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate effectively with your team to keep shipments on schedule

What You Bring

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Comfortable working with computers for order processing and data entry
• Forklift experience preferred — or willingness to train and certify
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift and move product as needed
• A safety-first mindset for yourself and your team
