COTA - Travel Contract

We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in San Leandro, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining skills needed for daily living. Minimum Requirements

Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active California COTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred. Ability to follow treatment plans under supervision of a licensed OT.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment, and mobility programs. Prior travel or contract COTA experience preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift Hours: 0800-1630. Shift Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Guaranteed weekly hours: 35. May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
