Location: Covington, GA 30014 Duration: 12 Months with Possible Extension Pay Rate: $17.50/hour on W2 Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred, but not required

Job Summary

The Production Clerk is responsible for retrieving and controlling production components, maintaining accurate production records, tracking daily production activities, and supporting the coordination of production operators. This position plays an important role in ensuring materials are available and production schedules are completed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize work orders to complete kitting operations according to monthly production schedules.
• Pull and prepare components required to complete production orders.
• Support production start-up activities and ensure materials are available on the production floor.
• Coordinate the movement of released production runs to the finished goods warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels in component storage areas.
• Pull, prepare, and ship components to other company facilities as required.
• Return unused production-floor restock materials to designated component storage areas.
• Maintain accurate production tracking and manufacturing records.
• Assist with training production operators as directed.
• Attend required training sessions and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Operate material-handling equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• One or more years of warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform routine calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, management, and coworkers.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently stand, reach, handle, and manipulate materials.
• Ability to sit, communicate, and use a computer as required.
• Ability to lift and/or move materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work in different areas of the facility as needed.
• Ability to perform work requires close vision and attention to detail.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• May occasionally be exposed to moderate to loud noise.
• Work may be performed near moving mechanical equipment.
• The production area can be busy and may involve working in close proximity to other employees.
• Employees are expected to maintain a professional, respectful, and productive work environment.
