Shipping Lead
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Shipping Leads for a leading manufacturing company in Woodbury, MN. In this role, you'll help ensure products and materials are shipped and received accurately while supporting inventory control and efficient operations. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
Process and log incoming inventory into the inventory management system
Prepare, package, label, and document outgoing shipments for carrier pickup
Coordinate with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries
Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed
Resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies, including damaged or incorrect shipments
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience required
Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management software
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
Ability to read and interpret shipping documentation and written instructions
Ability to operate material handling equipment or willingness to learn
