Registered Nurse (RN)Med/Surg - 1st AcuteLocation: Penn Yan, NYLevel 1Part-timeDays/Nights rotation$55–$58/hr, depending on experienceThe Level 1 Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med/Surg 1st Acute unit provides safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an acute care hospital setting. This part-time role supports both day and night shifts, delivering patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg acute care patientsPerform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plansAdminister medications, IV therapies, and treatments as orderedMonitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in statusEducate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructionsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical recordFollow all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practicesCollaborate effectively with physicians, nursing leadership, and care teamsQualifications:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standingLevel 1 RN experience or demonstrated competency in acute care nursingPrior Med/Surg experience preferredBLS requiredStrong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skillsSchedule & Work Requirements:Part-Time: 2 x 12-hour shifts per weekDays/Nights rotationEvery other weekend requiredNo on-call requiredAt Blue United Sourcing, we connect you with:Top-paying contractsFlexible schedulesHands-on support every step of the way
