Principal Consultant - Legal Recruitment -New York Principal Consultant - Legal Recruitment -New York This range is provided by Sonder Consultants. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr We are on the lookout for like-minded, high-achieving individuals who are motivated to join our team and play a key role in developing and enhancing our international legal recruitment business. Whether you are an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a minimum of 36+ months in the field or a lawyer contemplating a career change, with legal recruitment piquing your interest, we welcome your application. RESPONSIBILITIES
Full 360 role – headhunting and placing legal professionals. Building relationships with new and existing clients in the market. Identifying candidates and building project lists. Contacting potential candidates via database, email and other networking platforms, such as LinkedIn. Conducting headhunting calls and meetings with potential candidates. Market mapping. Prepping and debriefing with both candidates and clients. Collecting intel on hiring trends and recent people moves and reporting to the team. Closing candidates and acting as an advisor to both candidates and clients during this process. Drafting job adverts and job specifications.REQUIREMENTS
36+ months legal recruitment experience OR 36+ months experience as a lawyer in a BigLaw firm. Bachelor’s degree – LLB preferred, but not essential. Strong knowledge of legal practice areas. High attention to detail. Passion for contributing to the growth of a dynamic organisation. Drive to grow & develop every day. A proactive, positive, energetic approach and attitude.ABOUT SONDER
