Assistant Maintenance Technician

Now Hiring: Apartment Maintenance Technician - Vallejo, CA 94590 Pay: $24-$25/hr | Schedule: Monday-Friday Contract - to - Hire Opportunity BG Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Vallejo, CA 94590. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands - on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and functional community, and can handle a variety of maintenance tasks with professionalism. Responsibilities • Complete work orders efficiently and professionally • Perform general maintenance tasks, including: o Basic plumbing repairs o Electrical troubleshooting o Appliance diagnostics and repair o Carpentry, drywall, and general upkeep • Assist with unit turns and make - ready preparation • Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities • Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Requirements • Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred • Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions • Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently • Reliable, punctual, and detail - oriented • Strong communication and customer service skills
