Position: Ocean Operation Specialist Location: Rosedale, New York Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics experience in Ocean operations Detail oriented, Self-motivated, Exceptional problem-solving skills Must know how to use and organize Microsoft Word, Excel. Fluent in English (written and spoken) Exceptional listening, verbal and written skills Exceptional Customer Service skills (verbal and written) Good organizational skills and ability to learn and retain information to build core industry related skills. Responsibilities: Ocean Import operations including data entry, customer service, rating, routing, customs documentation preparation Arrange & follow up with shipment coordination & daily communication with customers & overseas offices Tracking orders processed, issuing invoices for services rendered. Monitor shipments and ensuring deliveries are timely Maintain compliance of all transportation & security regulations, including customer’s policies and external government regulations Communicate effectively with internal departments, other regional branches and offices, and all external contacts Other assignments may be directed by the Management Dimerco is an equal employment opportunity employer.
