Treasury Accountant
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Accountant to support daily cash management and accounting activities in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and dependable, with strong communication skills and the ability to independently manage priorities while maintaining accuracy in a deadline-driven setting.

This role is on-site in Fargo, North Dakota.

Due to the nature of this role and immediate business needs, we are only considering candidates currently residing in the Fargo, North Dakota and surrounding areas. Applicants outside of this area will not be considered.

Treasury Accountant Responsibilities

• Perform bank, account, and financial reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Monitor daily payment activity, post banking transactions, and prepare routine journal entries and adjustments.
• Research and validate payment information and coordinate accurate posting across applicable receivables systems.
• Gather, analyze, and summarize financial data while maintaining supporting documentation and accounting procedures.
• Assist with audit requests, system testing, process improvements, and cross-training to provide coverage across treasury functions.

Treasury Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including experience supporting and improving reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on financial data.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
• Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours and accommodate increased workload demands when necessary.

Compensation: $20-$21/hr. (DOE)
