Work Environment

The LPC position operates in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth technology to provide services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored treatment strategies for clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services through individual, group, family, and couples counseling sessions.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and psychodynamic approaches.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic client care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Valley Spring Recovery Health Clinic, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, families, and couples facing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. You will have the opportunity to use your specialized skills to create individualized treatment plans that promote healing and personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly desirable.
• Experience with telehealth practices is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
