Field Sales Representative [Pullman, WA]

Account Development Executive

This role focuses on growing a brand-new delivery partner program in rural Washington by recruiting local businesses to join a hub delivery partner network. You will work closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to identify, visit, and onboard prospective businesses, while managing a robust sales pipeline in Salesforce. The position combines field-based outreach, community engagement, and remote work, and offers uncapped commission potential based on the number of partners you successfully convert.

Responsibilities

• Visit prospective local businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a 90-minute driving distance to promote the delivery partner program.
• Present and pitch the new delivery program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate strong interest in applying.
• Qualify prospective businesses based on program requirements and guide them step by step through the application process.
• Lead and manage all sales pipeline activity in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and timely updates on prospects and partners.
• Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
• Collaborate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and awareness.
• Drive referrals through community organizations and networks to expand the pool of potential delivery partners.
• Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date records.
• Travel within a radius of up to two hours driving distance to meet with prospects, attend events, and support field recruitment activities.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and urgency in all interactions with prospective partners and community stakeholders.
• Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners, addressing questions, resolving issues, and helping them navigate the onboarding process.
• Identify and solve problems for applicants in the field, using sound judgment and available tools to remove barriers to enrollment.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Outside or field sales experience with a focus on territory coverage and door-to-door outreach.
• CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
• Strong sales skills, including the ability to pitch, persuade, and close opportunities.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and track activities in a CRM system.
• High level of professionalism, with the ability to represent the program credibly in the community.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems for applicants in real time.
• Tech-savvy, with experience working with multiple systems and technology tools.
• Ability to travel up to 4 hours round-trip on a daily basis as needed for field work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Local familiarity with the area is highly preferred to support effective outreach and relationship building.
• Prior field sales experience is a plus, especially in roles involving door knocking or territory sales.
• Previous experience in a role that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for working with others and collaborating with a Field Manager and local contractors.
• Strong sense of urgency and drive to meet and exceed recruitment goals.
• Comfort working in a performance-driven environment with commission-based incentives.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid field and remote role. You will spend approximately 34 days per week in the field visiting prospective businesses and attending community events, with the remaining time spent working from home to manage your pipeline, complete follow-ups, and update Salesforce. The territory focuses on rural Washington communities, including areas around Clarkston or Lewiston, Washington, and requires daily travel of up to four hours round trip. You will use technology tools such as Salesforce and Excel regularly to manage data and track performance. The role offers uncapped commission potential, with earnings tied to each partner you convert and additional monthly incentives for hitting goals. Mileage is reimbursed at a set rate per mile, supporting frequent travel throughout the region. The work environment is fast-paced, goal-oriented, and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on professionalism, community engagement, and delivering a high-quality experience to prospective delivery partners.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
