Job Full Description

We have been asked by a client in Noblesville, IN to help them find a Shipping and Receiving Clerk . In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory records, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring products are accurately processed and delivered. Compensation and Schedule

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What will you do as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk?

Receive incoming materials, products, supplies, and customer returns
Prepare products of various sizes for shipment using standard and specialized packaging methods
Route materials to appropriate departments and personnel
Communicate with internal departments regarding damaged shipments, shortages, and nonconforming materials
Notify manufacturing teams of incoming material arrivals
Monitor inventory reports and maintain adequate levels of shipping materials and departmental supplies
Determine appropriate shipping methods using established procedures, routes, and carrier rates
Prepare bills of lading, shipping orders, and related shipping documentation manually and through automated systems
Schedule carrier pickups and provide shipping and delivery instructions via phone and online systems
Record shipment information including weights, charges, and space utilization for reporting and recordkeeping purposes
Maintain accurate receiving, shipping, and inventory records
Coordinate international returns to Germany for repair or credit processing

What qualifications will you have as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk?

Previous shipping and receiving experience
Experience using SAP or another ERP system for inventory and shipping functions
Strong computer and data entry skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Ability to safely lift heavy materials and products
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
