Must-Have: Experience with Siemens scanners, must perform both CT and Xray

Description: The position requires performing CT scans and Xray procedures. Candidates must have a minimum of one previous CT travel assignment. Personality fit is important for this role. Average number of scans/studies performed per day is 10-15 per shift. Common types of imaging include CVA, basic chest, abdomen, pelvis, and trauma studies. Additional imaging may include cardiac aiding studies, pediatrics, and special needs patients. Technologists are expected to start IVs when possible. The department uses EPIC for EMR and McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS. There is a manager and a seasoned technician available on most shifts. Staff will be required to cover various departments including the ER and outpatient areas. Weekend shifts will be 12 hours, depending on the needs of the department. Holiday staffing requirements will primarily involve downsizing, reducing the need for staff. Dress code includes scrubs, which are provided, in Caribbean Blue. Candidates must be located outside a specified radius to qualify for the position.
