The Opportunity


General Manager responsibility. Day-shift schedule. Five-day workweek.


We're hiring an experienced Restaurant General Manager for a highly ranked franchise restaurant group in Arlington, Virginia.


This is a busy, full-service operation with no bar , structured hours, local training support, and a company that has intentionally created a better quality of life for its restaurant leaders.


If your background is in full service, fast casual, breakfast or diner-style restaurants, or a strong corporate/franchise concept , this could be a great next move.


What You'll Own

• Lead all daily restaurant operations with a hands-on presence
• Recruit, train, coach, and retain a strong restaurant team
• Develop shift leaders and future managers
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest experience
• Take full accountability for restaurant P&L performance
• Manage food cost, labor, scheduling, and operating expenses
• Adjust staffing and labor based on business volume and operational needs
• Oversee onboarding and training with support from local training resources
• Lead from the floor and stay actively involved in daily operations
• Monitor restaurant performance and quickly address opportunities for improvement
• Handle guest concerns and maintain strong service standards
• Partner with area leadership on restaurant performance and team development
• Create a culture of accountability, consistency, and internal growth

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of General Manager experience
• Background in full service, fast casual, breakfast/diner, or a structured corporate or franchise restaurant environment
• Strong understanding of restaurant P&L, labor management, scheduling, and cost controls
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain strong teams
• Hands-on leadership style-you're comfortable being on the floor and involved in the operation
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain operational standards in a fast-paced environment
• Experience developing employees and promoting leaders from within

Experience with a nationally recognized franchise or high-volume, day-focused restaurant concept is a plus.
