As a Security Officer Access Verification in Phillipsburg, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a secure, welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You\'ll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining accurate entry records. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions. Assist with maintaining access-control logs, receiving deliveries, directing contractors and visitors, and supporting a professional environment for employees and guests. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
