Position Overview

We are in search of a proficient and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to augment our dedicated imaging team that goes the extra mile to provide stellar patient care. You'll apply cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic imaging, partner with a collaborative team of health professionals, and bring reassurance to patients with timely and precise imaging results.

Responsibilities That Matter

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound studies, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each procedure with sensitivity and understanding
• Work in close coordination with radiologists and referring doctors to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient information in the electronic medical records system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and standards of care

Educational Background Required

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
