Our client, a growing IT company, is seeking an experienced and highly capable Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the organization runs efficiently, smoothly, and effectively.

This is a senior leadership position for someone with a strong IT background and proven experience managing teams, including offshore teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can oversee multiple functions, improve processes, hold teams accountable, and ensure projects and daily operations stay on track.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company's day-to-day operations and ensure everything is running smoothly
• Lead, manage, and develop internal and offshore teams
• Establish clear goals, expectations, and performance standards for teams
• Coordinate operations across multiple departments and functions
• Monitor workflows, productivity, deadlines, and overall team performance
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve processes
• Work closely with leadership to develop and execute operational strategies
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between onshore and offshore teams
• Manage multiple priorities, projects, and initiatives simultaneously
• Develop processes and systems that improve efficiency, accountability, and scalability
• Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure timely resolution
• Monitor KPIs and operational performance
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership
• Ensure teams have the resources and support needed to perform effectively
• Help drive technology and process improvements throughout the organization

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing and leading teams
• Experience managing offshore or distributed teams strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IT operations, systems, and technology
• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple departments, projects, and priorities
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment
• Experience developing and improving operational processes

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who understands both technology and business operations. They should be comfortable managing people, including offshore teams, while maintaining visibility into the company's day-to-day operations. This person needs to be a strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves, solve problems, manage competing priorities, and make sure the organization continues to operate efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $150,000–$250,000+ salary, depending on experience
