Location: Waterman Canyon Post Acute 1850 N Waterman Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404 Position Type: Full-Time Pay: $19 - $21.00 per hour/ DOE
About Waterman Canyon Post Acute Waterman Canyon Post Acute is a skilled nursing facility in San Bernardino, California, dedicated to the safety, wellness, and recovery of our residents. We provide compassionate care through rehabilitation services, medical physical therapy, and long-term support.

Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing nutritious, appealing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure food is cooked, held, and stored at proper temperatures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
- Follow portion control standards and food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with dietary aides and nursing staff to accommodate special diets
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of food supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification is a plus)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a nursing facility
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
