Senior Program Manager

Overview

Metric Geo has partnered with a leading contractor in the region who are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale commercial construction capital projects and programs. This individual will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, extensive capital project experience, and a proven track record of managing complex construction programs.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage commercial construction capital projects and programs from planning through closeout

· Oversee project budgets, schedules, risks, and overall program performance

· Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders

· Ensure project objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved

· Monitor program-wide performance and provide regular reporting to leadership

· Manage procurement, contract administration, and change management activities

· Identify and mitigate project risks while driving issue resolution

· Facilitate project meetings and maintain effective communication across all stakeholders

· Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and company standards

· Support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives across the program portfolio

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

· 10+ years of construction project/program management experience

· Experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects and capital programs

· Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, project controls, and contract administration

· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously

· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction/project management software

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience managing enterprise-level capital improvement programs

· Owner's representative, program management, or consulting experience

· PMP, CCM, or similar industry certification

· Experience leading projects in healthcare, life sciences, corporate, higher education, or commercial environments
