Warehouse Receiving Clerk

The Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurate verification of goods, supplies, and assets delivered to and shipped from Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe receiving dock, in accordance with company policies and procedures. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity). Responsibilities include verifying appropriate receipt of goods, supplies, and assets delivered; verifying quantities ordered and specification of products by using computer system documentation. Maintain departmental shipping/receiving logs to ensure accurate tracking. Resolve shipping/receiving problems by communicating with Purchasing and/or supervisory personnel. Responsible for performing all receiving dock operational functions including receiving, shipping, and delivery of goods to appropriate departments.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Physically function, as incumbent is required to perform a number of different duties including, but not limited to; lifting, pushing, carrying, and pulling loads of up to 100 pounds. Walk, squat, stand, and twist so as to be able to lift, load and unload items. Reach, climb, carry, bend, and balance are necessary for the loading and unloading of items. Communicate effectively with co-workers and clientele, in both verbal and written form. Minimum age requirement is 21. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Computer entry experience helpful but not required. Two months on the job training and/or through related experience. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic math skills. Language Skills: Must be able to speak and understand English. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear. Ability to regularly move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds. Constantly walking up to distances of 500 ft. during shift. Frequently stooping, reaching. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. There are occasional hot and cold temperature changes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a smoke-filled environment. Work with others in close spaces. Moderate to high noise levels. Walk/stand on tile/mats/carpet/cement.

GNLT Pay Range USD $17.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr. Tipped Position
