Reliant Credit Union is seeking an engaging, visionary, and community-minded executive to serve as its next President/Chief Executive Officer. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the President/CEO serves as the organization's chief executive, strategic advisor, and cultural leader. This individual is responsible for establishing and executing the long-term vision of the credit union while ensuring continued financial strength, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional experience for members and employees alike.

Reliant's strategic priorities are clear: grow membership, elevate the brand, optimize technology, invest in people, and deepen community relationships. The next President/CEO will provide the leadership necessary to bring these priorities to life while ensuring the credit union remains financially strong and well-positioned for sustainable long-term growth.

A key role of the President/CEO is to be the primary champion of culture and employee experience. You will model mentorship and employee development, encouraging best-in-class employee engagement, including career growth, competitive compensation, and employee benefits.

The Board views growth as a mindset rather than a destination. Asset size is viewed as a starting point— not a limitation—and the successful candidate will identify thoughtful opportunities to expand the credit union's reach, deepen member relationships, and strengthen Reliant's position within an evolving marketplace. Success will not simply be measured by balance sheet growth, but by the organization's ability to create lasting value for members, employees, and the communities it serves.

The Board also recognizes that strategic investments require patience. Whether expanding branch facilities, modernizing offices, investing in technology, or enhancing the member experience, the organization is willing to make thoughtful decisions that may temporarily impact traditional performance metrics when those investments strengthen the credit union for the future. The next CEO should share this long-term perspective while maintaining disciplined financial stewardship.

How Will We Grow Together?

Successful candidates will bring a minimum of 7–10 years of progressive executive leadership experience within a credit union, community bank, or other financial institution, along with a demonstrated record of strategic leadership, financial stewardship, organizational development, community engagement, regulatory compliance, and Board partnership. A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree or executive-level certifications are preferred.
