Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize purchasing, inventory management, and supplier relationships across all branches. Currently, purchasing is highly autonomous and locally driven: individual buyers manage supplier relationships, order timing, and stocking decisions branch by branch, relying largely on experience and judgment. While this approach has kept the business close to its customers, it has also led to inconsistent inventory practices, inefficient allocation of working capital, and variable service levels by location and product line. To address these challenges, the Supply Chain Manager will lead the implementation of a coordinated Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, complemented by a data-driven purchasing model that aligns inventory with demand variability and service-level targets. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for establishing and running the recurring SIOP process, developing and maintaining analytical replenishment models, and collaborating directly with buyers throughout the company to standardize purchasing decisions. The primary objectives of this role are to maintain industry-leading fill rates while minimizing excess and misallocated inventory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish the SIOP process – a single, repeatable monthly cadence connecting demand planning, supply planning, inventory strategy, and executive review. Introduce a quantitative purchasing model – statistical forecasting, segmentation, and service-level-based safety stock / reorder-point logic, tuned to DCA's SKUs, lead times, and branches. Standardize buyer practice – a coordinated planning community operating from shared parameters and governance, without losing local market knowledge. Optimize the inventory / service trade-off – hold fill rate where it matters and release working capital where it does not. Forecast & SIOP Process Ownership: Own the SIOP calendar and run the recurring demand, supply, and executive review meetings, driving cross-functional consensus (sales, purchasing, operations, finance) on a single demand and supply plan. Build and maintain the demand forecast; report on forecast accuracy and bias and partner with sales on continuous improvement. Purchasing Logic & Inventory Targets Define and own the statistically driven logic behind purchasing recommendations and target inventory levels – safety stock, reorder points, service levels, and order quantities. Segment the catalog and set differentiated service-level targets and stocking strategies by segment and branch, and continuously refine the logic to improve recommendations and reduce excess/obsolete stock. Purchasing System Ownership Serve as business owner of the purchasing system – development and implementation, workflows, and ongoing improvements. Partner with IT on upgrades, integrations, and issue resolution, and coordinate replenishment execution with buyers under consistent, auditable processes. Data Flows & Definitions Partner with IT to maintain the data flows feeding the purchasing and forecasting systems. Own the input data and business definitions for inventory, purchasing, and forecasting. Controls & Reporting Partner with Finance to own inventory and service-level reporting at both board and operations level. Establish and administer a system of controls to keep purchasing-system and forecast performance on target

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS.

Experience – 7+ years in supply chain, demand / supply planning, inventory management, or purchasing, including direct ownership or facilitation of an S&OP / SIOP process. RV industry experience preferred. Distribution / inventory depth – Demonstrated results applying quantitative inventory methods – safety stock, reorder points, EOQ, service-level modeling – ideally in a multi-location distribution or wholesale environment. Analytical skill – Strong command of forecasting and inventory-optimization concepts and the ability to build and maintain the underlying models (advanced Excel required; SQL, Power BI, or planning-software fluency strongly preferred). Systems – Working proficiency with ERP and inventory / planning systems and a track record of improving data integrity as a foundation for planning. Leadership & influence – Proven ability to drive process change and standardization across autonomous, experienced stakeholders without direct authority over all of them. Preferred Skills: Existing relationships with key national accounts in the manufactured housing sector. Ability to work collaboratively across functions and lead cross-departmental projects.

WORK SCHEDULE & WORKING CONDITIONS

This position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, flexibility is essential, as occasionally early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday work may be required based on business needs and collaboration with international teams.
