Orthopaedic Specialists of Austin is hiring a full-time Front Desk Associate for our Registration department in Austin, TX.As a Front Desk Associate (Receptionist) for OSA, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities of our facility to ensure smooth operations. As a Front Desk Associate, your job duties will also include a variety of secretarial business aspects of patient care to include scheduling procedures and office appointments, reception, bookkeeping and other clerical support duties with emphasis on customer service. This position will be responsible for covering shifts at our Hyde Park and Lakeway locations.Job Requirements:Education requirements:High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience: Registration experience preferredResponsible for checking out patient once seen by the providerResponsible for scheduling tests and follow up appointmentsResponsible for educating patient on their next treatment step as provided by the providerStrong computer literacy, typing ability and knowledge of medical terminologyStrong customer service skillsSkill in communicating effectively with physicians and clientsElectronic medical record experience preferredAt OSA, we know that our employees are our best assets when it comes to providing exceptional orthopedic care to our patients.
