General Manager - Law Firm (NYC)

The General Manager, reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations, is responsible for overseeing the daily café and high-volume catering operations for a prestigious law firm in Midtown Manhattan, with additional oversight of pantry services in Boston and Miami. This role requires exceptional communication and P&L management skills, the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment, strong team leadership, and a client-focused approach. The ideal candidate will ensure outstanding food quality, seamless catering execution, superior customer service, and consistent operational excellence across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
• Manages overall day to day operations of the account including cafe, and catering operations
• Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations
• Support Pantries in Boston and Miami
• Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training
• Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client as well as other departments
• Works with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
• Five years of foodservice operation experience in complex food operations
• Experience working within a unionized environment is preferred
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance.
• High volume production and catering experience is essential
• Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
